| Routes Taken |
1) Got to ES by taking 75/69 through OK and then took 412
to 23 and into ES. This is probably the fastest/shortest route but is not
very pretty. |
| 0 MPH Falls | 1) I was between Victoria Inn
and the Iron Horse when I saw a beautiful view of the valley and low lying
fog. I figured I'd pull over and take a picture. I pulled over at a
turnout, put my left foot down, and fell over when it slipped out from
under me due to gravel. I'm glad it was about 8 AM because no one saw it.
Even worse, I didn't even have my camera on me. It was back in the room.
The bike was unharmed. 2) Gunnar put his left foot down at the Iron Horse but the ground was 6 inches below his reach. He went over on the left side and broke his left rear turn signal. 3) Gunnar dumped it again at the gas station in Jasper. 4) Rooster did fine until we got to Sherman on our way back and dumped it at a gas station. Moral of the story: These bikes are heavy and if they get a few degrees off vertical they're going down. The other moral: everyone has done or will do this same thing. |
| Pictures | I was so busy riding that I didn't take many pictures. Also, I don't know some of the people in these pictures. If you know any of them that I didn't mention, please let me know and I'll update the captions. |
